Again this year, the mission committee is conducting a Christmas project to provide gifts to children in Loveland. Angel Tree is a program through prison ministry which gives a Christmas gift to children of incarcerated parents. The gift is given in the name of the parent and is a very meaningful parent-child connection. Gifts will also be provided for children in the One Community One Family Project, which supports families struggling with homelessness. Although our efforts may look different this year due to the questions around having worship and other activities in our church building, the mission committee wants to continue our church’s commitment to these children and their families. With extra precautions, we plan to have tags with the children’s names available on November 14 & 15 from 9:00-12:00 in Coy Hall. Please return gifts between 9:00 am & 12:00 pm on November 28 & 29. Delivery will be on December 12.
