Life Stages: Facing Truths and Finding Hope on 1st & 3rd Fridays, 1:00-2:30 pm on Zoom; limited to 7 participants. The class will begin in the 3rd week of January 2021. This class will be facilitated by Dr. P. Clay Carter, a member of First United Methodist Church of Loveland.
This course evolved from the grief courses conducted by Bev Goodier. The resource materials and processes in her course suggested that many of the difficulties addressed related not only to grief events but to aging itself.
Bev and Steve Goodier have worked with Clay Carter to fashion a 12-week course for addressing issues that create difficulty for most senior adults. The content can also expand awareness for those who have aging parents.
Each issue will be explored through writing and discussion. Participants will be encouraged but not required to share material from your writing.
Participants can join the group at any time. Upon completion, the course will be repeated so that late comers can continue until you cover any missed chapters.
A booklet will be provided.
