Life Storying

Life Storying – Guided Autobiography Workshop 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 1:00-2:30 pm on Zoom; limited to 8 participants. The class will begin in the 2nd week in January 2021. This class will be facilitated by Dr. P. Clay Carter, member of First United Methodist Church of Loveland

The course is 10 consecutive meetings that focus on nine life themes that apply to everyone. After the first session, each week’s agenda will be to read part of what you have written on that week’s theme. Since each chapter builds on the previous one, no new participants can be admitted after the start.  However, the course will be repeated if there is continuing interest.

Curriculum materials will be provided free of charge; class members will provide only their own writing materials.  The material, based on a book by James Birren and Kathryn Cockran, is designed to increase self-awareness of life patterns as well as composing an overview of one’s life.

Upon completion of the course, you will have nine foundational chapters of your life story that can be expanded upon if you choose.
